Teeth Bleaching At Home – The Different Options Available To You

With the expensive costs of going to the dentist to get your teeth whitened, many people are opting to just bleach their teeth at home. Beside the expense of going to the dentist, there is also multiple trips, and it can be very time consuming. It takes forever just to get an appointment. If you are like me, you only want to go to the dentist when you absolutely have to.

Well, there are options available for those of us who do not want the big expense of a dental visit and want a cheap teeth whitening solution. There are options for bleaching our teeth in the comfort of our own homes. Some of the options available for us to use at home include: whitening strips, whitening toothpastes, tray whitening kits, and paint-on or pen-based whiteners.

The tray based whiteners are a mouth tray that may or may not be custom fit that you place over your teeth with the bleaching agent. These types of kits work rather well. Your best bet would be getting one that will custom fit your teeth.

The paint-on or pen-based bleaching kits are just what they sound like. You just paint on the bleach one tooth at a time. They work well too, because you focus on each tooth one at a time. However it can take a bit longer than the tray systems.

The whitening strips are strips of film with the bleach on it that you place over your teeth. You have to make certain that it sits uniformly across your teeth to get the best benefit from it. There is also toothpastes which will work good if your teeth are not too stained. The toothpastes work better as a maintenance product in my opinion.

In a few days I’m going to have a post about a cheap teeth whitening solution that you will want to check out.
